Shobaleader One – a project by Tom Jenkinson, a legendary Squarepusher and one of the classics of contemporary electronic music, will perform at the Philharmonic in Szczecin on 11th May 2017. Today i.e. 10th March, a premiere of their latest album “Elektrac” is taking place!

The project Shobaleader One was established in order to perform live on stage as an ensemble. Jazz variations, percussion polyrhythms and cosmic electronic sounds will be enriched with outstanding scenery and visuals.

Tom Jenkinson has drawn inspiration for this recording from traditional jazz and dance music. His electronic productions had their Polish premiere in 2014 at the Sacrum Profanum festival, where he was accompanied by the Orchestra of the Royal City of Cracow. Jenkinson is also a bass guitar virtuoso.
The concert of the Shobaleader One ensemble takes place within the series SOUNDLAB – the philharmonic laboratory of electronic music. Tickets are priced from 30-50 zł and may be purchased at the ticket office at the Philharmonic or online at filharmonia.szczecin.pl from Tuesday 14th March 2017 from 13:00. Shobaleader One is also proposed for the May concert of electronic music.
