What will you learn?
This module will look at different orchestra models taking into consideration historical, cultural and geographical contexts. We will cover aspects like the orchestra organization and the management structure, conceptual and long-term planning, artistic direction and selection of repertoire, working towards team’s professional development and well-being, stress management, cooperation between music sections, stage skills, the specifics of auditions and competitions, team management in a multicultural environment.
This module is addressed to: aspiring conductors, artistic directors, intendants, programmers of classical music events and festivals, students, graduates, musicians who want to develop their skills in management.
