Who does not know the Polish songs "Czterdzieści lat minęło", "Wojna domowa" or "Tylko wróć"? The composer behind all these hits is Jerzy "Duduś" Matuszkiewicz. This saxophonist and one of the most important personalities of the Polish jazz scene has also written music to over 200 films and television series.

The album with the most popular film songs of Matuszkiewicz included in the "Great Film Music Composers" collection has become a certified gold record.

Krzysztof Herdzin is the author of suites in which he had compiled the most beautiful themes from the movies; moreover, he conducted the orchestra during the recording. And it is this medley of hits by "Duduś" Matuszkiewicz, performed by the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Szczecin Herdzin that music lovers will enjoy that night.
