Her home has always resounded with jazz, soul, Brazilian bossa nova. In the music school she attended a piano class – but she did prefer to sing and improvise. The first step to a great career was the release of her first album "Kamień" in November 1995.
It brought her the first "Fryderyk" award (for best vocalist of the year). After more than 20 years since her debut, Kayah returns onto the stage with the songs "Fleciki", "Nawet deszcz", "Santana" and "Jestem kamieniem".
The artist will confront the past by new arrangements of the songs from the beginning of her career. As she writes herself – in the past two decades, she has continually encountered fans who found special predilection in the album "Kamień".
