Till Janczukowicz - Artist Manager, Producer, Concert Promoter (Berlin)
Till Janczukowicz has more than 30 years experience as an artist manager, producer and concert promoter. He began his career as a pianist and journalist, writing reviews and interviewing artists who intrigued him: Alfred Brendel, Murray Perahia, Svjatoslav Richter, Krystian Zimerman, and many others. For three years, he directed the Master Classes at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and invited artists and teachers such as Christa Ludwig, the Alban Berg Quartet, the Beaux Arts Trio, Lev Naumov, Gyorgy Sebök, Andras Schiff, Boris Pergamenschikow, and Sachar Bron. He and Bob Brookmeyer founded the New Arts Orchestra, an international youth big band, featuring soloists such as Clark Terry, Gerry Mulligan and Randy Brecker.

In 2000, he established the European office for Columbia Artists Management Inc., heading it as managing partner until 2011. His personal clients included conductors Christian Thielemann, Seiji Ozawa, André Previn, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, and Juraj Valcuha, and pianists Ivo Pogorelich and Arcadi Volodos. He arranged tours for orchestras such as the Royal Conertgebouw, Paris Opera Orchestra, the Philharmonia, and the Vienna State Opera Orchestra, in addition to three European tours of The Metropolitan Opera, and other collaborations with leading international orchestras and performing arts institutions.

When a new pope was elected in 2005, Till produced the first concert for Benedict XVI, which was recorded and shared on TV, CD and DVD from the Vatican. In 2008, he created Abu Dhabi Classics for the government of the UAE, a performing arts series merging culture, education and tourism. He arranged the UAE debuts for the New York, Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestras, the Bayreuth Festival, Daniel Barenboim, Sir Simon Rattle, Zubin Mehta, Cecilia Bartoli, Yo-Yo Ma, Anne-Sophie Mutter, and actors Ben Kingsley and Jeremy Irons. The number of participating schools and universities increased from four in the first season to more than forty in the 3rd season.

In 2014, Till founded IDAGIO, the first audio streaming service for classical music, as an answer to the permanent question, “How can we use technology to sustain and energize classical music?“. Comprised of a passionate, multidisciplinary team in Berlin, Vienna and New York, IDAGIO now supports artists and performing arts institutions in developing viable online strategies based on design, tech and content expertise.
