Opportunity. Why take part?
Co-funded by the EEA grants, the programme is subsidised for participants with the aim of developing practical skills in the creation and production of international arts projects. Each module is comprised of a series of webinars and masterclasses showcasing a wide range of experts, experienced tutors and special guests.
Each module will provide participants with useful and relevant historical, geographical and social contexts to each topic, include case studies and provide helpful strategies to overcome challenges and obstacles in the given field, all with the aim of providing the participants with an essential tool-kit for their future development whilst stressing the overall important interconnectivity between the various modules. Participants selected for practical training and internships will be working alongside a range of interdisciplinary events to gain the best all-round creative experience possible.
What is the course structure, step by step?
The M.M.M. programme structure takes into account the process and the dynamics of the project. As such, the participants will be co-authors of the programme.

LEVEL 1: Online courses


Each module is composed of five virtual classrooms taking place over five weeks in late May/June on a given weekday. E.g. Team Management course takes place for five consecutive Tuesdays at 6pm CET beginning on May 25th. For detailed schedules please check the corresponding pages under each module heading.
Prior to live sessions with Tutors, course participants will have access to a pre-recorded masterclass giving an overview of the module.

  • DATES: 24/05 -27/06 2021
  • ONLINE TEACHING TIME: approx. 10h/ module
  • CAPACITY: up to 30 participants in each module
  • COST: Free for selected participants

WHAT BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE IS NECESSARY?
Ideally, participants would have a background in the arts, be currently working in an arts-related sector and be interested in developing and enhancing their skills overall in the creative arts arena. The application criteria will differ slightly according to each module. Check corresponding module pages for details.

DO I NEED A SPECIFIC SOFTWARE?
To attend online courses, you just need a good internet connection, a webcam, speakers or headphones and a microphone. The courses do not require any existing specialist skills or equipment.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE END OF THIS LEVEL?
At the end of the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion – participation in the Music.Multimedia.Management. programme.
Candidates interested in applying to LEVEL 2 – practical training – will be given a final task based on the material covered during the webinars. A jury comprised of expert tutors and team members of Partner Organisations will select 24 trainees (4 trainees per module) to go on to the next level.

LEVEL 2: 2-week practical training in Poland & Norway


The training will take place in partners’ headquarters in Szczecin (PL) and Skodje (NOR) and will be designed around an active involvement in the production of the artistic events between August and September 2021. The participants will be mentored by a team member of each partner institution and receive ongoing organisational and methodological support during the training process.

  • DATES: Between August and September 2021 (based on candidates’ availability and preference)
  • CAPACITY: 4 trainees per module (24 trainees in total) will be selected among course participants, based on a final task at the end of the online course and/or an interview.
  • COST: Free for selected participants. Additionally each trainee will receive a financial contribution as per-diems for the duration of the training.

LEVEL 3: 2-month paid internships in Poland & Norway


The internships will take place in Partners’ headquarters in Szczecin (PL) and Skodje (NOR) and will be designed around an active involvement in the production of the artistic events between August and September 2022; The participants will be mentored by event producers and curators.

  • DATES: Between August and September 2022 (based on candidates’ availability and preference)
  • CAPACITY: 2 interns per module (12 interns in total) will be selected among course participants, based on their performance during the practical training and/or completion of a task

They will also receive 10h individual mentoring ahead of the work placements.

REMUNERATION: Each intern will receive a remuneration for a 2-month placement.
So, how do I apply?

Phase I,

Based on your choice, you will be asked to register on the website and indicate the module you are interested in.

The registration opens on March 16th.

  • Once registered, you will have access to intro masterclasses giving you some idea of what to expect from the programme and find out more about the contents, the formula of online courses, as well as get to know your Tutors.
  • Registration allows you to log in and complete the Application Form which will be active between April 1st and May 9th.
  • Registration on the website gives you access to the Opening Masterclass on Audience Development led by Kevin Kleinmann. This is an essential introduction to the programme and it is obligatory viewing for all candidates interested in filling out the application form. The masterclass will be available to watch on the website from March 23rd.

  • Recruitment starts on 1st April and closes on 9th May.
  • Lists of participants qualified for each module will be announced up to 7 working days after the application deadline. Selected candidates will be notified via email.
  • Candidates will be required to confirm their participation in the programme within 3 days of receiving notification.

Are the courses in English?
Yes, as the programme is addressed to people around the world, the courses are held in English.
Are the courses free?
Yes, the courses are free but places are limited. Interested candidates will provide their current CV and a support statement.
Do I need a specific software or equipment?
To attend online courses, you will need a good internet connection, a webcam, speakers or headphones and a microphone. The courses do not require any existing specialist skills or equipment.
Can I apply just for the online courses?
Yes, you can apply just for the online courses. You don’t have to apply for the practical training nor for the internships.
Can I apply for more than one module?
You can apply for the module of your 1st choice and optionally, your 2nd choice.
Is there an age limit on applying?
The M.M.M. programme is open to English speakers aged 18+ from any part of the world. There is no age limit.
What supporting materials do I need in order to apply?
This may vary depending on the module you are applying. In some instances you may be asked for samples of your previous work. Please check individual module pages for details.
In what format can I upload documents and is there maximum size?
Documents can be in doc., open office formats or PDF.
Size: 2MB for resume and 10MB for other attachments.
Please upload multimedia files on youtube (unpublic link), Dropbox or an external server.
What is the closing date for applications?
