Katarzyna Łuszczyk - Lighting Designer (Warsaw)
Born in 1977. She studied Theatre at The Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw and Polish Philology at Warsaw University.
From 2002 to 2020 she was Assistant to Krzysztof Warlikowski, working with him in the following productions: „The Dybbuk“, „Krum“, „Angels in America“, „(A)pollonia“, „The End“, “African tales by Shakespeare", „Kabaret warszawski“. „Francuzi“ and „We are leaving“. She was also responsible for video in K. Warlikowski performances. She has worked in over 70 theatres all over the world, travelling with the above mentioned performances.
For many years she was responsible for coordination and integration of the work of Krzysztof Warlikowski theatre, first in TR Warszawa, and then in Nowy Theatre, from the very beginnig, working as Asisstant to Artistic Director.

During this time she also designed the lights for more then 100 performances in Poland, for example in TR Warszawa, Teatr Polonia, National Theatre, Teatr Polski, Teatr Współczesny among others.

She cooperated as Lighting Designer with Agata Duda-Gracz, Małgorzata Bogajewska, Krystyna Janda, Michał Borczuch, Wiktor Rubin, Marcin Liber, Agnieszka Glińska, Jerzy Stuhr, Przemysław Wojcieszek, Tomasz Cyz, Bogusław Linda, Szymon Kaczmarek, Claude Bardouil, Marek Kalita, Renate Jett, Anna Seniuk, Paweł Passini, Andrzej Domalik, Jarosław Tumidajski, Grzegorz Wiśniewski.

In 2015 she was Head of the Lighting Design Jury at Tanec Praha Festival. From 2018 she's been main Lighting Designer of Festival „Pamiętajmy o Osieckiej” in Theatre Nowy in Poznań.
She held masterclasses in Olomouc in Czech Republic and in Sao Paulo in Brasil.
