The final concert of the 10th edition of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra is a culmination of an extraordinary educational project and the first fully international youth orchestra in Poland. Every year, the Philharmonic Mieczysław Karłowicz in Szczecin invites young, talented musicians from all over the world to take part in orchestral workshops under the guidance of leading international instrumentalists and mentors.
This year, ILYO musicians performed in the main hall of the Berlin Konzerthaus as part of the Young Euro Classic festival – the world's largest festival of youth orchestras. Two days later, on August 19, they played in the golden hall of the Philharmonic in Szczecin.
